Serving Westmoreland County, Indiana County,
Allegheny County, and Southwestern PA since 1995, The Thorne
Group has helped thousands of area residents maintain their

Since its beginning, The Thorne Group has
been a large scale provider of home health services for the Area Agency on
Aging and the Pennsylvania Department of Aging.
Over 1,000
patients per year receive some form of home health services or
home care from our agency.

Located in Youngwood, PA, The Thorne Group is Medicare
certified and state licensed. Caregivers are carefully screened
with background checks, employment verifications, references,
and skills tests. All agency staff is supervised by our
administrator, a registered nurse with over 20 years experience
in home health care.

your mental and physical health and welfare.

The Thorne Group was named to
the Top 500 Home Health agencies in the United States and the
Top 10 in Pennsylvania! Approximately 7,500 agencies were
ranked.
The ranking, performed by Outcome Concept Systems, scored
agencies on three categories – quality of care, quality
improvement and financial performance. The data utilized
comes from CMS’ Home Health Compare database and cost reports
submitted to CMS. Selection of top agencies by this independent
organization is quite an honor.
